Yesterday I got my bottom braces put on and man do they hurt. I got my top ones put on 7 months ago and they were a piece of cake. (besides getting food stuck in them; at least they didn't hurt.) To top it off I have a mild allergy cold that's just adding to the pressure in my head. No pain, no gain though. My teeth need a lot of work and I am glad that I'm finally getting them fixed. Around my 29th birthday my teeth will look good as new and I can't wait!
Next week is spring break for all the school kids. I hope the weather gets better. It would be nice to get out of the house and go to the park or something. Also next Friday Nicci is coming down with her hubby and the kids. Mark that day off on your calender, so we can have a get together. Maybe we could go for lunch or dinner or even take the kids out somewhere. Open invitation to all you ladies. I'll give more details when Nicci gets back to me on when she will be here and that kind of thing.

Good for you with the teeth thing. I feel for ya having to wear braces. I got them my sr yr in high school and remember the second day just killing! Torn up cheeks and all :) I had two teeth that never formed permanent ones...so had to get them pulled, the right ones pulled into the right place (thus the braces) and two implants. It's worth it though, I agree.

I also have to have 4 teeth pulled and 2 implants. That part scares me a little.
My teeth were soooo bad.. I have 8 pulled, yes 8. My gums were too small for all those adult teeth coming in. It was painful.. And I had the braces too, but for way too long.

Oh I feel your pain. I remember getting my braces and being so relieved when they came off. Weeks before Grad pictures.
Will think of you while you get your teeth pulled. Always sounds scarier then it is. When are you getting that done?

Just to clarify, I am hoping to come down sometime next week with Jim but I am not sure what day that will be or if it's going to happen yet. Jim is probably bringing down an ambulance to Richmond so that gives me time to go out for lunch with the ladies but I will keep you all posted on when that will be. We are for sure coming down as a family on the 29th till April 1st as well so if it doesn't work this week then I will see youall then hopefully.
I never noticed that you needed braces. Make sure to use your retainer after or they will shift..Mine get worse every year.
