My Son Looks Like Quasimodo!
This past Tuesday we put Thomas to bed at night as usual but instead of sleeping he decided to play around in bed. Anyways Shawn and I were watching t.v. and all of the sudden there was a loud crash, then there was silence but only for a moment. Then we heard screaming and both ran in his room to see what happened. All I could see was this huge bump on his face. The bump on his face was twice as big as in the pictures and I thought for sure he had broke his nose. We rushed him to the hospital and the whole ride there he kept grabbing the "lump" and moving it around. It was making me sick. Anyways thankfully he did not break his nose but that still did not change the fact that he now looks a little alien like or even a distant cousin to the hunchback Quasimodo without the hunch.Today is the first day that he started looking like himself.

poor little guy...they sure can take falls like a pro at this age, hey? isabella has had some nasty falls too :)
OH my goodness - poor little dude. You and your hubby must have freaked right out. R. has had quite a few falls etc.. etc... - I hope that the swelling goes down soon and that it isn't to painful. Brave BOY!
Aww those are never easy :( He still looks pretty happy though, what a little trooper!!
Omg! That looks terrible. I hope he's doing ok
Poor Thomas. My experience with head wounds is that they always look worse than they actually are. My kids have gotten a few bumps on the head and it takes days for the swelling to go down, but they usually feel better pretty quickly. Last year Ella pulled a stocking holder down and it landed on her forehead. She was okay, but it freaked me out!
Awe, too bad kid. That's so rough. But bruises and scars are cool war wounds. Apparently chicks dig 'em.
Man that bumps looks painful. I hope it heals quickly. It is amazing how kids can get hurt and then bounce back so quickly as if nothing happened.
