Today was another busy day. I helped out in children's church today, as I do on the last sunday of every month. Then right after church, Julia had another lyrical practice which was hard getting her to go to until she found out it was a dress rehearsal. (She loves getting dressed up.) Then we went for fast food because Thomas fell asleep in the van (Good old McDonalds, why do kids love McDonalds so much?) When we got home I put Thomas to bed, but of course he woke up and didn't want to go to sleep. So I ended up taking the girls to my moms house while Thomas and I went to Home Depot. I feel like I live at HD because I'm there on a weekly basis and people that work in the store say "Hi, Mrs. King, oh where's the rest of the family." (That when you know that the renovating has gone on too long.) Right now I'm in the process of picking out my paint colors and hopefully in a week the basement will be all mudded and ready to go. I'm at that point where I just want it all done, enough is enough! I'll post pictures when it all done. (I got the ugly before pictures.)

Thomas is so cute. I don't know how your kids always fall asleep in the funniest places. The basement will be done soon enough. Then what's the next big project?
Karen,I would have to say the stairway leading up to the trampoline and the area surrounding the poolwill be our next project. If I'm really lucky, Shawn will also build a tree house for the kids in our maple trees.
